The next project being developed under the first-look deal is an untitled film written and directed by Krasinski. The feature, set to star Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds, is currently set for a November 17, 2023 release.

2018’s A Quiet Place was a huge hit for the studio, earning $341 million at the worldwide box office and receiving an Oscar nomination in 2019 for Best Achievement in Sound Editing. The first film starred and was also directed by Krasinski who co-wrote the screenplay along with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck from a story by Woods and Beck.

In A Quiet Place Part II, following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

The second installment sees the return of Emily Blunt as Evelyn Abbott along with returning cast members Noah Jupe as Marcus and Millicent Simmonds as Regan. Golden Globe nominee Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) and Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond) also star.
